The strap around the eyelets combines with the plate to offer a "wrap around" type of containment when moving from side to side. The heel is more padded to maintain comfort and support.
Durable Traction
Additional rubber in the toe area, specifically the big toe, adds durability. High-abrasion rubber in the forefoot offers durability and traction. Nike designed the heel specifically for rocking movements, such as stepping back for a serve.
